So, lots of big changes happened since last I wrote on this thing...mainly, after spending the better part of 2006 trying to use my Optional Practical Training card to get a job in the industry and failing, I decided to go back home to Argentina. A year ago that would´ve been the worst thing ever for me, but after a while I realized it wasn´t such a bad plan...so I´ve been down south for a couple of months now, and I´m enjoying it. Hanging out with my gf, seeing friends and family I hadn´t seen in years and trying to figure out what to do with a BFA down here! Still, I´ve been doing a bit of freelance illustration and talking to people about doing some animation-related stuff, so we´ll see.
In the meantime, Christmas is almost here! Besides the fact that Christmas happens during the really hot and humid summer here, Argentine traditions are a tad diferent from American ones: here, we get together on Christmas eve, eat a whole lotta food (my family´s roasting a whole suckling pig...I swear, it´s Christmas food) and, once midnight comes around, we drink champagne or cider, exchange presents and shoot a bunch of fireworks. Cool, huh? Anyway, hope you all have a great time, no matter what or how you celebrate them. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYBODY!!
